
Soccer is Better with Lay's
ART DIRECTION/ DESIGN
When Lay’s partnered with Lionel Messi to launch limited-time-only packaging, Kroger needed digital ads that felt as dynamic as the collaboration itself.

I started with a key visual that set the tone for the campaign. Bold, energetic typography referenced excitement of sports culture, while the backdrop of a soccer stadium grounded the design in Messi’s world. The hero of the composition was the LTO Lay’s bag, placed prominently alongside fan-favorite flavors to create both excitement and familiarity.

From this foundation, the team expanded the key visual into a suite of static and video digital ads.

Working alongside our animator, I translated the key visual into engaging digital video ads. The campaign ran as paid media across Kroger’s social platforms, building buzz and amplifying awareness for the limited-time flavor launch.
